The artist
Real story.
Real growth.
I.B.J. is Ian Byng-Jewett, a Canadian independent hip-hop artist whose work is built from the chapters most people are told to hide: failure, fatherhood, pressure, lessons, healing and the decision to keep going.
The name means I Been Judged. It does not ask for a perfect past. It stands for owning mistakes, respecting lessons, protecting the future and moving forward without pretending the scars are not there.

The statement
I.B.J.
“I BEEN JUDGED. I’M STILL BECOMING. AND I’M MOVING ON.”
Music is the centre of this platform. The full vision also carries visual storytelling, live performance, independent merchandise, fan community and work that gives people a reason to believe the next chapter can be stronger.
